Mothers’ Union Cyprus & The Gulf was warmly remembered in conversation at Lambeth Palace this week, as Bishop Sean, our Patron, met with the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Revd Dame Sarah Mullally.

During the meeting, Bishop Sean spoke with Archbishop Sarah about the work of Mothers’ Union in Cyprus & The Gulf: its formation over the past two years, its place within the worldwide Mothers’ Union movement, and its growing role in encouraging and supporting Mothers’ Union life across the region.

This conversation comes in a significant year, as Mothers’ Union marks 150 years of prayer, service and support for family life around the world.

Archbishop Sarah sent her greetings and good wishes to our President, Revd Christine, and to Mothers’ Union members across the region, with prayerful encouragement for the work taking shape in the years ahead.

Bishop Sean’s visit to Lambeth also included a wider conversation about the Diocese, its people and the life of the Church in the region.
